How long can as csf go untreated/last?

The only thing left could be a csf leak..how long can they last..?
some doctors said that it couldnt last this long and that by now my fluid would be
back to the rite place..i had issues before the LP and pressure was normal but
it is almost a year later and i still have such bad pressure feelings burning neck etc etc.

mri of back and head was normal no leaks seen..facial pain killing me....
how long does this last? is it rare that ppl have brain herniation for a csf leak
or is that more common with increased ICP?
