Hypothryoidism with peripheral neuropathies

Hi - I just wanted to post that I too have the muscle twitching and am hypothyroid. I don't really have any other symptoms except for the annoying twitching. Mine started about a year or two after I started taking thyroid medicine. My twitching has been going on now for about 4 or 5 years. It can get worse if I am stressed out or have exercised extremely. I have never really had any checking done by a neurologist as I have always suspected that it was due to my being hypothyroid. Just recently I have started to freak out about it a little bit thinking, geez, so much time has gone by and it still hasn't stopped I probably should have had this checked out. However, I would be super stressed out waiting for the test results to come back. I am having my B12 and other vitamin levels checked out though. Do you think I should visit the neurologist? Or wait to see if I stay status quo?
