I have Pseudotumor Cerebri

I have Pseudotumor Cerebri

im an 18 female living in south florida. over a year ago a year ago i started having frequent headaches that soon became constant. my vision was going blurry and i was truly scared. my regular doctor pretty much thought i was making it up. i was unable to go to school being i was feeling so horrible, i could not function. i started seeing double, but yet no one knew what i had. i went to every type of doctor to see if it were my wisdom teeth coming in to maybe just tension headaches. finally, it took my right eye to COMPLETELY cross inward to get people to take me seriously. at this point i couldnt keep my balance and i was vomiting almost everyday. i went to clevland clinic, they took a CT and found nothing. they sent me home with two vicodins which didnt do anything. ONE over the counter medication seemed to work..exedrin tension headache. (now, i know it is because it had caffine which released fluids out of my body). i went to the opthomologists at last, and he was truly my gaurdian angel. when he walked in the room he asked if they had already dialated my eyes..they hadnt. he immediately diagnosed me with Pseudotumor Cerebri and severe papilloma.. he told me to immeditely go to the hopsital or i may lose my vision completely or possibly have a stroke. i was in shock. i felt hopeless.i became deeply depressed.  i had never heard of this before. in and out of the hospital for 6 months i finally felt stable. they had put me on diamox (that does give me tinglyness) but for some reason last summer my nuerologist decided to take me off it because she thought i was doing well and had lost weight on this new diet i was on. all doctors declared me CURED. and i thought i was. im currently in my senior year of high school and 2weeks ago i was BACK in the hospital for my 5th spinal tap. (fyi: CTs and MRIs do not show the fluid in the head). even after this spinal tap that i JUST had i am still experiencing headaches..they put me back on diamox but it doesnt seem to be working. there has been talk of placing a shunt in my head to drain the fluid but i am completely clueless about it and honestly quite scared. i want more information of this. im planning to go to orlando for college and i dont want my health to get in the way of me living my life. i need advice really... im scared.

and i have a question for anyone who has ever had / had a child who has had an LP; does your body temperture change. because everytime i have one i get extremely overheated, even when its freezing i will sweat.
is this normal?

thank you &
God bless.
-Taryn, 18
