I have slow nerves

by j_touch, Aug 13, 2009 12:59AM
so a year and a half ago i was diagnosed with having polyneuropathy after a electromyography. they said that my nerves are running at just below half of a normal adults nerves at this age. ~32 m/s. He warned me "if I go knumb anywhere on my body, go directly to the ER... it might be permament." I have no reaction time when they hit my knee with a mallet thing. I twitch alot and always have, lately I have been going knumb in my left arm alot more frequently and I am pretty concerned. After they did the test they scheduled me another appointment and I never went back because I am in the military and dont want them to kick me out, I alrady have 5 in... 1/4 of the way there, so I never went back. Now overseas, what should I do if my symptoms and my twitching get worse, is there anything i can do without going to the doctor and risk being kicked out? If not, what should I seek out? thank-you for your time.
