I need to know what is happening to my daughter

My 14yo daughter neck and arm suddenly began twitching. Then her eyes were blinking uncontrollably. After waiting for 4 hours in the er waiting room with her like that the hospital finally took her. They ran a MRI and found nothing. Drew blood and nothing, spinal tap and so far nothing. The doctors is telling us that it's all psychological and suggests that she sees a hypnotherapist. Yet whenever my daughter said her head hurts these symptoms comes back and her headaches are coming in more frequently and the doctors insist that it's in her head. I'm at a stand still and need help please. I have video of her shaking in the ER, please help.

Also, take the video with you when you get the appointment and show it directly to the doctor, it will get things moving quickly and hopefully some answers. Good luck!

Yes, I agree go to a neruologist and have the tests done to check for seizures. There are many different types go to a great children's hospital and ask for the top neurologist.

has the child been checked for seizures?  I went to the hospital for my arm jerking and headache and was told it was severe sinus problems, stress!  Come to find out i was having seizures! My eyes open and close too!
