IS this a life sentence or will it get better?

I`ve suffered from three concussion over the spand of a few months. The first two within week of each other and 2 months after a third.  The last one was in August.

Since then I have been very cautious to not hit my head but lets face it it`s nearly impossible. Kids will soft balls around and balls outside. They will flail their arms and hit your head or just nick you. Someone will bump into you and make you fall back. YOu will pull on something and it will make you jolt. These are part of life but when something out of my control happen even it being a small thing like someone brushing my head in a mouvement, I get dizzy and feel off for a few hours up to a few days.

I can`t live in a bubble this is depressing. I see my life as a 32 year old mother of two at a standstill somewhat when it comes to physical play. I can`t rough house anymore, can`t play hockey with them or run or jump. I have to be somewhat overly cautious to prevent any hit to my head because it will back me again. I`m fearing that this will always be like this but am hoping that someone will tell me that I will get better with time. I am thankful that I still have the ability to raise them and go out and drive again. I know there are people who are in worst situation then mine but can`t help but wish that I will get better and be able to at least do some of the things I used to be able to do.

Anyone with a severe concussion that took a long time to not get dizzy if they got a jolt or super minor head hitting.

thanks

Thanks, I have had an inter ear infection a few years back and it seemed I had a mild one, Still the fact that my head is so hyper sensitive since the concussion is frustrating and difficult to deal with.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
If concussion is the cause of dizziness, then it is difficult to predict when you will be free of it. However, please consult your GP and find out whether you have traumatic brain injury or not. You may be having a bulging disc in neck causing your symptoms. Also, low or high BP can cause similar symptoms. It could also be an ear problem. So, please consult your doctor to find out why you are dizzy. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
