Hello,
Last June of 98, started having,Joint Pain, tired all the time skin sores, axillary nodes swollen. Finally did biopsy on skin and node. Showed features of lymphocytic vasculitis. Suggested of an Immune-mediated disease.ANA-Neg, Sed rate only 18. RA Factor 113. A Rhemutoid Doctor said I have a mixed connective tissue disorder. Put me on Plaqunil. My wrist hurt more now and lower back. I have done research on Rheumatoid arthritis. The test show that it can be non-specific. How are you to really know what is going on. Does one have to wait till the disease progress. I am lost. I had Graves Disease years ago, which they kiled the thyroid supposely. Now my thyroid shows hypo. Had a total Hysterectomy 16 yr. ago. Many bouts with nemonia (spell). Could you give me some advise to which Doctor I should really be seeing.
Thank you so much

You certainly need to see a Rheumatologist, since there is no neurological component to your symptoms we probably cannot help you specifically in this forum. I would however encourage you to seek a second opinion from another rheumatologst. If you want to use the Cleveland Clinic for a second opinion, the number is  1800 CCF CARE, ask for rheumatology appointments.
No referral is necessary.
