Spinal hemangiomas are benign tumors of the spinal hemangioma and rarely produce clinical symptoms. However sometimes they can cause compression fractures and neurologic dysfunction.
So hemangiomas can cause neurologic symptoms although rarely. I would suggest you to seek a second opinion on this.
