Okay everyone. My name is Makia Meadows and I'm 15 years old. When I was about 6 or 7 years old I notice a dent or "sunk in" spot like in the middle of my skull. I thought it was normal and I thought everyone had one. It didn't start bothering me until I was about 12 or 13. I went to the doctor for it and they kept telling me I wore my hair too tight and although I knew that wasn't the problem, I just went home and listened to them and ignored it. Now that I'm 15 the spot is very tender to the touch and along with it is frequent migraines and headaches. They've done a Cat Scan, Ultra Sound , and X- rays, but everything came back normal. But, the x-rays did show that I had an indentation in my skull which they said it was normal. They did an x-ray from both sides and from the front, but not from the top... It hurts when I comb or brush my hair, and it also hurts when I lay a certain way and my scalp moves a certain way. I understand that they say they've done all I can, but I know what I feel and this isn't normal. It kinda feels like there's a small bone or something sticking up poking and irritating at my scalp. If you have any answers or suggestions please email me at ***@**** or reply back to this question.
