Index finger and thumb

My index finger and my thumb on my left hand are involuntarily twitching. It is not rhythmic, but it is continuous. It has been going on for over an hour now. This is the first time that I have noted this. I do have Arnold Chiari malformation 1. I have had the decompression surgery last year. Now the little finger has started in. It is painless. I can still move and grip, but not as strong as my right hand.
Any suggestions?
