Intermittent vibrating sensations in the right thigh

Since the last few months, I am having what appears to be at random times, vibrating sensations in the thigh, just like a cell phone vibrating in my pocket. I am a 52 year old male. Does anyone know what causes this and what works? Do I need to have this checked out?

Mine I think just started today. Ever since I started carrying a cell phone I would get the phantom vibrations, but this is different. I was blowing it off at first, thinking it might be something in my pocket. It's almost like I could describe it as a spring wobbling around in the right side of my thigh. I started on Wellbutrin a few weeks ago. Before that I was on zoloft for almost a month. When I started taking the Wellbutrin I would feel weird nerve feelings throughout my leg. Now this. I'll get it checked out and give an update with my progress.

yup , 37 year old male  I've been carrying a cell phone on vibrate on the left side of my pants for about a year now , i have the vibrating in my thigh (more outside mid quad) when it's not even there too. feels like a slightly weaker vibrate then when my phone vibrates.  that started developing a few months ago, getting to the point that i feel it about ten or 15 times a day , it started freaking me out so here i am looking it up. lasts only a few seconds on and off each time.   I too tuck my left leg under my right when sitting at work on off for my 10 hour shift 4 days a week.  but i don't feel it when i sit like that.  I feel it when i sit normal. and when at work and when not at work and when in car. Its definately becoming more noticeable with time.  what is it ?

When I was a kid I would get pin worms, nobody in my family but me. When I was 23 a tick got on me, then for years after if I ever broke down and ate beef which I rarely did, the spot the tick had bit me would swell up. Fast forward 40 years later on the news they said they discovered a tick bite could cause beef allergies. In 2011 I got bit by a tick and got the red ring around the bite lyme disease.  Took antibiotics for it. Then in 2017 on my property 1.5 acres I started getting skin inading mites that were never there the first 10 years I owned the property. They almost killed me, I was stuck in bed with covid not knowing they were coming in my house when I slept. 4 weeks in bed from covid and I was infested. Then I find the mites in my tub after taking salt baths for the horrible sores and itch they caused under your skin eating your flesh. They were a type of mite science says do not bite humans. WRONG. I had hundreds in my tubs after several salt baths. Finally I figured I needed to spray my house 2 times a month and remove all plants and grass around it, now to my neighbors I look like a nut case, but to me it is a matter of life or death. I finally get a handle on them and as I am writing on a website my experience with Bryobia mites giving me scabies symptoms and sepsis, I forgot to mention the mites got in my ear and I would hear an intermittent buzzing or vibration, it drove me nuts till I figured out putting alcohol in my ear for 3 minutes killed them and the buzzing stopped. So as I am on this website trying to help others with my information I learned. My damn left thigh starts getting the same vibration as the mites caused in my ear. Intermittent, then it will stop, but if I get up or move after it stops, that triggers it again. It is like an insect wakes up and starts wiggling, kind of like a wasp against glass trying to get out flapping it's wings.
I never in my life had this experience and I am 67, so I look up parasites in the muscle and find Trichinosis, Pin worms my first nemesis a certain strain of them can invade your muscle,  I got some Albendszole an anti parasite and for a day it stopped. Then when I feel some peace it starts again.
I give the hell up, if I die it will be a blessing. I am so GD sick of this hell of a world I was made to believe some imaginary good god created. Doctors do not know crap, It sucks when you almost die of a mite infestation you have no idea how you got or what it is, only to find when you discover what they are by hundreds of them coming off you the salt baths drew out of your skin, It is Bryobia, otherwise called Clover Mite, and not one GD bit of information online and no documented cases of it. Searching the whole internet I found a certain picture of them I clicked on, all it said was I found these in my tub, what are they. Someone somewhere also had them and posted a pic of them on the web asking someone to identify them, Not any other instance of anyone experiencing what I did. 7 years getting these on me fighting 2 to 3 months to kill them every time. What a nightmare when the world says they are harmless to humans. I defeated them, Now I have this god damn vibration  in my leg. Life sucks . God if there is one is evil to the bone crap creator.

Im a male 37 and sit for 4 to 5 hours a day. Just two nights ago I began to feel a vibration in my left leg that happens with each heart beat. Like a pressure washer hose that with more pressure pushes the water through and causes the hose to
Vibrate. It is timed at each heart beat. I haven't go e to the DR thought I'd see if I'm alone. Surprised there are no posters that know what might cause this.

I forgot to mention something else. I'm currently trying to stop sitting on my left leg. I started a bad habit of placing my left leg under my right thigh when I sit in a chair. The reason I posted this stuff, is so we can compare possible similarities that may be causing our leg issues. Thanks and good luck.

I have the same problem with the internal vibrating in my body at night. I laid down one night and was telling my husband about it.  I put my hand on the bed, palms down and fingers spread open, and asked him to do the same.  I then asked him if he couldn't feel the vibrations.  He said no. These feelings do not hurt or annoy me....they are just unusual.

Hi
I hate that you are suffering this too but I am glad to hear that so many others have these symptoms. I thought I was going crazy or getting a really bad sickness. It's crazy though that Dr's can't diagnose it when so many seem to have it.

Hi
I started having what felt like cell phone vibrations in my left thigh if I laid on my left side...only on that side, as time progressed so did other symptoms.  Now I have some type of small fiber neuropathy although all tests negative.  Hopefully yours is not to progress like mine.  Best wishes!

My intermittent vibration felt like if you ever knew of these in Mexico you could buy these large seeds that would vibrate and move, they had a worm in them.
That is how it feels, so I look up worms in muscle tissue and there is a pin worm that can get in your muscle and cause a cyst, it is called Trichinosis.
