Internal tremors

I have recently experienced ongoing internal tremors.  I feel like I am vibrating from head to toe.  Sometimes while I am sleeping the vibration is so great that it wakes me.
I went to see a neurologist and don't feel like I achieved anything.  I was given a pill to help relax me.  One a day.  Unfortunately it doesn't last 24 hours and the tremors have not subsided or become less intense.  The pill is now only lasting about 8-12 hours.  If I get cold the tremor becomes worse.
I have absolutely no energy, can't get a full night of rest and am tired all day long.  I suffer with hypothyroidism but my T4 and T3 levels are considered within normal range although both have changed within the last 6 months.
I need help!  Has anyone found relief?
