Is Transverse myelitis curable

My mother is suffering from a transverse myelitis for a past one year, but she has not yet recovered, I am from INDIA,  anybody facing the same problem and recovered from it please do let me know. It will be a great help for me

Hello.

Can you mention what treatment she is receiving for her transverse myelitis? Also, was the cause behind the TM identified?

Research has shown that as many as 80% patients who suffer from Transverse Myelitis continue to have significant long term disabilities. A small percentage (5%) will have some other lesion elsewhere in the nervous system.

Since she is in India, Multiple Sclerosis is not really a big concern.

It is difficult to comment any further about your mother's prognosis as I do not know the cause and course of the illness.
