Is an MRI dangerous to your health?
I am going in for an MRI. I have had headaches since I was a child. Recently I have had weird head pressure on left side. I get twingy pain in left temple when bending over or sometimes doing nothing. It's getting better but I am having an MRI because of my history plus I had an concussion as a child. I am wondering if it's worth exposing myself to MRI.
Does anyone know are MRI' s dangerous to our health?
I have a lot of fillings and  a couple crowns, does that matter when having a brain MRI ?

I'm no expert, but I've never heard of any issue with MRI w/o contrast (assuming there is nothing metalic). I think fillings/crowns are OK, but not sure.

Gd contrast may cause issue with some patients. This was in the news recently.
