Is it CRPS or Cervical Nerve Pinch?

I was diagnosed with RSD in my left foot in 2000.  They treated it aggressively with spinal nerve blocks and physical therapy, but a couple of months after it was over, I developed skin lesions that ran from the base of my skull to my tailbone.  The lesions took about a year to go away and none of the doctors I saw could tell me what they were.  In 2004, I began having pain in my left side that started in my sinuses and now runs down the complete left side of my body, head to toe.  My doctor has confirmed that it is my sympathetic nervous system.  We're trying different treatments to see if anything helps.  Meanwhile, I can't even sleep on my left side; any pressure on my left side hurts so bad.  Now, I'm also having pain (on the site only) at the base of my neck on an area that I've heard called the "buffalo hump" (it runs in my family). Could I have a pinched nerve in there, or do the humps hurt?
