Is it MS...or are we missing something?

About a year ago my wife (32) mother of 2 girls, (5) and (8) had right side tingling and numbness...just on the right side of her body.  Face, tounge, arms, trunk, and legs.  We immediately had CT scans, MRI of the brain, MRI of all sections of the spine, and a spinal tap, and blood tests, and artery tests (main artery that supplies the brain), lyme disease test...ALL NORMAL - Squeaky clean.  We decided and our neurologists decided to just wait and see if this was just a viral thing.  6 months later...it returned.  Again...performed all tests again, MRI's, blood tests, - all normal.  Neurologist put her on 100 mg of neurotin a day...symptoms went away and now have returned 3 months later.  Now her right eye feels weak and heavy and she has issues focusing.  We went in for a VEP test - VEP test proved normal.  We now will be having an MRI of the optic nerve next week, and then are seeing a neuro opthalmologist...Any help here...my wife is literally changing both emotionally and physically with no answers.  We feel we are doing all that we can - I as her h.usband am doing all that I can possibly do for her.  Any additional insight or thoughts as to what direction we should go would be great.  MRI and other tests being clear - don't point us to MS but symptoms remind us that without the technology - just the symptoms alone would point to MS...is this what we should be prepared for????????
