Is there a House in the house?

Hi, I have been experiencing several symptoms which mostly all are happinging in my head. In Oct. '09 I woke one morning with ringing in my ears. This was after a long time of prior fighting back and tailbone pain so I took many meds including pain meds and anti depressants. Anyway, since that day the ringing has not really stopped. But what has happened is more symptoms have started. I am currently battling daily a flurry of things. High pitch hissing in ears, head pressure, dizziness/vertigo, eyes watery and blurred vision. I even have pain in my left kidney. This comes and goes.

The doctors that I've seen keep guessing. They do NOT take the time to listen and learn so they can help diagnose me better. They've sent me for ear tests which proved nothing, and tested fro allergies, again nothing. I have so many meds that I've only taken 1 pill of. The most resent being Diamox which after 1 pill all my symtoms (symptoms) got worse. My eyes felt like they where pushing out of my head and very wet. What ever that pill does to the kidney it seems like I need the opposite as it seemed to worsen things. Got a severe headache, more brain pressure and brain fog.

I need some bright minds to help me think of what to do next. Is there a House in the house?

Please help me
Neil

My state of mind is, I feel hopeless. This has been going on so long now and wont go away and it's getting worse.

Hi
Have the doctors done any form of scans? It could be that there's some sort of lesion growing in your brain. It could also be that you have hydrocephalus, which is basically an excessive amount of water on the brain. If you haven't been to see a neurologist, that would be my suggestion on what you should do next. There are doctors out there that will listen to what you have to say, it's just sometimes it takes a while before you find them.
Take care and good luck

Thanks for the reply. Yes, My doctor has ordered an MRI. Still waiting for insurance approval. I did have an MRI in Nov when I was having bad headaches but that MRI showed nothing.
I'd like to add some important facts to this. Atmospheric Pressure seems to "tip the scale" for me. Meaning, I have noticed over the many months now of having this that when a storm approaches and the Barometric pressure drops my hissing gets worse, my pressure and fullness in the brain gets worse and I get headaches. Also, a couple weeks ago I went to my sisters cabin in the mountains at 4500 ft. Sure enough, within hours of being there ALL my symptoms went away. My ears popped wonderfully, etc.. After returning back to my house at 140ft above sea level all my symptoms have come back. And storms with lower pressure keep coming at the pacifc coast. Has anyone had this or heard of this happening? It is REAL.

Thanks
Neil

That's a bit strange because you say when the pressure drops from a storm, your symptoms get worse. But then when you go up to the cabin which is higher up which means the pressure should be less, your symptoms get better. I'm not saying that you're making it up, I just it's weird that it kinda contradicts each other. I hope someone can give you proper answers because I'm just as confused as you are

I think its not as much the low pressure as the change in pressure. I believe it's more hard on me as the storm is coming in vs. the going to the mountains and after I popped my ears everything equaled out fine. I know it all sounds wierd and confusing but it's ruining my life right now and I can't seem to get help. I appreciate your thoughts and advise you've given.

Hi there. I just got back from camping at only 700 feet and for the last 3 days. After going there I noticed all my symptoms had stopped other than an occassional tinnitus attack. I then just drove home to the central valley at only 45ft elevation or so and all my symptoms are back. Especially my dizziness/confused state. Just as I got to the valley my head feels like it's on fog, or better yet, severe withdraw feeling. (I used to smoke 10 years ago. So now after 2 times of going to a higher elevation in the past month or so I felt normal at a higher elevation and not lower. Also to not, I just moved out here in April and all this started. I know it sounds wierd but it does have something to do with location. It's not allergies either. Was tested recently for all. I may have to move and I just leased a home out here.
Anyone with any ideas please throw them my way. Thanks
