Recently I posted and asked about the importance of seeing an MS specialist because I would like the doctors to diagnose or rule it out & try to find a way to help me.....
The doctors I am currently seeing do not have my medical records from 2002/2003, as I lived in a different area. That was the last time I had similar health issues was during those two years. Then I was healthy for a few years, and sort of "relapsed" into similar health problems, only worse, in late 2007.
In 2002, I had a case of shingles on the back of my hip...... same side as most of my neuralgia-type pain - or at least where that pain began last year (2007) - it has now migrated.
Anyway, I keep reading a lot of information online about herpes simplex, etc. and it seems that somehow it is related to the type pains I'm having.........
Can someone please give me a better understanding of this connection, and advise on whether I should speak to my doctor about my case of shingles in 2002 (which was also the last time I had neuralgic type pain - --- then was believed to be a pinched nerve in my back shooting down my leg).
Thank you! & God Bless!
Amy
