Itchy chin

Itchy chin

I have, I'm told Trigeminal neuralgia, the right side of my face in some areas, (ear, chin, lip teeth, scalp) have a light burning sensation. Comes and goes. I can handle it. Not too bad. Now what has happened, and this is my question, the right side of my chin, about the size of a quarter, is slightly numb on the surface, but itches like crazy off and on almost all the time now( 2 months). The itch will go away for hours at at time but the numbess is always there now. The itchness is real intense and I try not to scratch. Is this the TN. Is it over for me? If my whole face starting itching like this, I could not like with it. I'm 61 and in good health except for TN and Cerivical Stenosis and lower back Stenosis. I hade fusion surgery on C 3,4,5.  TN happened a year after surgery but the Neurosurgeon said that the Trigeminal Nerve is above where the work was done. That's not the cause.
