Alright, maybe there's someone out there that can help me. About 5 weeks ago, I was watching TV and all of a sudden, my vision became very blurry. After the blur disapeared, I started seeing zig zag lines. This lasted for about 10 minutes and once it was gone, a sudden headache came on. I figured it was just because my eyes had been playing tricks on me and it caused my headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury to hurt, so I went on to bed. The next day, after being up for a few hours, the headache continued. It was pressurePressure ulcer, not throbbing or anything and it was mainly above my right eye. I finally went to the Dr after a week of having a headache. She treated me for a migraine but the medicine didn't help. After it didn't get better, she scheduled me a CT scan, which came back completely normalNormal saline flush. My headache hasn't changed a great deal. It went away for a few days, but it's back again. It's not severe pain, but constant, dull to moderate pain above my eye. And it often hurts on the very top of headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury, as well as the very top and front part of my foreheadForehead lift Forehead lift - series. OTC medication doesn't help at all. Today, my headache has been present all day long. It often feels like I have something in my eye, like I've rubbed lotion in it or something. And today, I noticed that underneath my right eye, right there along the bone, there's a funny littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys knot, it's hard and about the size of an M & M. I'm 21 years old, in over all good health, and have been happily married for the last 2 years. I have a 9 month old little girl that is my world and I'm very worried about what's wrong with me. Can anyone help me? I have to see my little girl grow up!
I have been suffering from a continual headache for almost 9 weeks now, so we have something in common. My headache pain and symptoms are not identical to yours, but like you, OTC meds were not helpful, nor was Toradol, Zomig, or Fiorinal.
You said you've had a CT scan, which was normal. Was it done with and without contrast? Have you had any other tests? Blood work, for example? Have you seen a neurologist? If not, I'd say it's time for a specialist to look further into the cause of your headache and how best to treat it.
On 7/12 I posted an update on my headache and what the neurologist is doing at this point to diagnose and treat it. Maybe you would find it helpful.
Same here, not exactly but I am suffering also. It's driving me mad. I to had a MRI 2 yrs ago, all clear. I don't know what's wrong with me. I have seen my doctor several times and she has said that it is 'tension headache' kept alive by my constant anxiety. I don't anymore.
I've also had an everyday headache since July. I would also get these sharp shooting pains in the right side of my face just above the eye if I moved my head too fast or bumped my chin or something. I also have this numbing pain in the back of my head which the docs called ocipital nerve neuritis. I had a CT acan, seen a neurologist and now I'm waiting for an MRI. So far they also say that its a tension headache dur to stress. I guess when they don't know what to say they just blame it on stress. I am trying to treat myself. I've done acupuncture which has helped me alot, also I've been going for massage therapy and that also helps. Now i'm looking into natural medicine. Try this, doesn't hurt. Get a juicer. Make yourself a juice of carrots (80ml) and spinach(160ml). Drink that every day and then every second day. (you can add an apple to that for better taste) Hey, what ever helps right. I have two small children also and this whole head thing freaks me out. I hope this helps you.
