Just seeing if anyone had any ideas
I have been having the same symptoms as alot of people ive seen on here and i am really worried. I have had head pressure, ear ache, worrying about a possible brain tumor, and worrying that my Ct scan may not have shown a tumor and that a MRI could. I am 17 and i have been having head aches for the last two weeks. I have had the head pressure which feels like my head being squished, my nose has pressure on it but its not stuffy, sharpness and fullness in my ear, my throat has felt tight like there is flem in it, i have had diarrhea, and since this has started all i have done is worried about it. I heard that stress and anxiety could cause this. I have also had the cat scan and been to the doctor. I feel like the cat scan could have missed something and i want a MRI but the doctor says i don't need one. I originally i thought this was a neck strain after my rough snowmobiling trip but my symptoms wont go away. Also laying down makes my head hurt more and its very hard to go to sleep. I haven't gone to school since this started because daily activities make this worse. I was just wondering if anyone has had symptoms like this and if anyone can help me i would be very greatful

Without the ability to examine you and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of your symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.
It sounds like you have had a headache for some time. The fact that your head symptoms are associated with ear pain and throat symptoms and diarrhea, and that they started recently all somewhat at the same time suggest you may have a systemic illness such as a viral upper respiratory tract infection (the common cold), sinusitis, an ear infection etc.
There are several causes of headaches. Headaches can be divided into primary and secondary. Primary headache disorders are headaches without a direct cause (such as migraine disorders and chronic tension type headaches). Secondary headache disorders are due to an underlying problem, such as a tumor, medication side effects, central nervous system infections, bleeds in the brain, etc. In the vast majority of cases, a CT scan will pick up major problems such as bleeds, large tumors, and other problems, though you are correct in stating that in some cases an MRI will see a brain tumor when a CT scan does not show one. However, in general, brain tumors do not cause headaches associated with ear and throat pain and diarrhea, so these associated symptoms are reassuring in the sense that they point away from you having a brain tumor.
However, again I can not comment for sure on your diagnosis without examining you and obtaining a history. I recommend continued follow-up with your physician, with evaluation by a neurologist should your headaches persist.

I am a landscaper by trade .....and had similar symptoms to you .......all tests were negative ....in fact I'm healthy as a horse .......but my head still feels too heavy for my neck ......and symptoms change from stomach and bowel issues to arthiritc pain ......
I have Lymes disease!!!!!!! I got bit in Oct 07 .....my titers (antibodies kept going up ) ...but the Western Blot .....the test most doctors still use ( though it is noly 50 % accurate) ......was negative until jsut now ...... a year and a half later.!
All my blood work ......is normal .....in fact at 48 my values look like I'm a 20 year old......I physiclaly look like a 35 year old ....(yoga and wook out ) ....and feel like an 80 year old and get worse and worse ...
I'm better and almost symptom free when on antibiotics........
I've been treated three times with 100 mg of doxycycline for the Lymes .......at my insistance ......even though the western blot kept coming back negative .
SImply ......A BODY does not build antibodies to a disease it does not have ......the Lymes test is a bad test and doctors should not be using it !
You are outside ....and Lymes is an epidemic .......It is a bacteria much like syphyllus and hides dormant in your body .......deep in your central nervous system and cells .
THere is also a study in Canada that says it should be being treated like an STD ......as a bacteria that can hide in your blood and your spinal fluid .....why isn't it in your other fluids??????

And all blood donated for tranfusion should be being tested for lymes .......
Just had a spinal tap to prove to the doctors that it's Central Nervous System Lymes .......the 21 day oral stuff is jsut not working ......even though that is what the CDC says for them to give ......and it willbe cured.......no ....it is not cured
Now the family doc finally got a positive Western Blot and is saying 'it converted to positve" .......no that is foolish.....if my titers kept going up all along it always was positive !!!!!!!

My doctor actually quoted that only 1 in every 200,000 .that get bit by a deer tick contract Lymes.......if that were true I'd have to personally know about a million people to know as many as I do that are currently being treated or have been treated for Lymes in the last three years.
And ......I also contracted a co infection ....another bacteria the deer tick carries that had me severly anemic and on 8 weeks of ferritin infusions .......for two springs in a row ........( dropping both times to a hematicrit of 9 before they would treat me and belive me ) .......No testing found a reason for the anemia .......except for the known tick bite in my left upper thigh in Oct of 07 . No it was not on me for 36 hours .....no there was no rash ........and it was from Salem CT......the next town over from where the disease was named.......Old Lyme CT.......AND .....got it from sleeping with a dog in the bed ........not from being outside myself .
Every one I have asked that has been treated .......has animals in their homes .
THere is a menigitis like thing that happens with lymes....eye problems and even a colitis ...moving arthritis goes from joint to joint .....( I evern got hurt and the doc that looked at the xray of my ankle said I had changes in my bones he felt were lymes and no one listened..still only got another 21 days of doxy ..) ....off the antibiotics >>I get ...runniy stools ..sharp pains in my stomach .....all lymes symptoms ....even had a heart fluttering problem ................all the lymes bacteria attacking you ! ......
