Keppra XR vs Keppra
My doctor just swithced me from regular Keppra (2000 mg/day-1000mg in the morning; 1000mg at night) to Keppra XR (1000 mg/day-1000mg in the morning).   Is it wise to reduce the amount taken?

Keppra XR (levetiracetam) is a once-a-day extended release epilepsy medication . The dose reduction is not done initially and slowly you have to do as this is related to epilepsy and your neurologist is the best person to comment, always follow his advice. Take care!
