In July of 2009 I slipped in some water and my right leg went into a split and all of my weight landed on my left knee. At that time I weighed 345lbs. I have since lost approx 55 - 60lbs. However, I have been to about 8 doctors now and finally found a neurologist that cared. He sent me to another orthopedic specialist to double check structural issues and that doctor came to the conclusion that I has RSD. Now since this accident I have started to have a lot of trouble with my back (upper, mid and lower). A lower lumbar spine MRI was done and it clearly shows that I have DDD and a bulging disc at the T-12. My question is this: what if anything can be done to relieve this pain? I am in constant pain all day everyday and even though I have Hydrocodone 10/500 it does not relieve the pain it gets if from about a 9.5 to a 4 or 5. I have become very depressed because I have a 3yr old and 16 month old to take care of and I feel like a complete burden on my family. My mom and my husband both are so tired of having to help me because I can't pull my own weight and I am doing everything I know to do. I am still continuing to loose weight and I go to see a new pain management doctor after the first of the year. Can someone, anyone please tell me what I should ask him or what to expect as far as treatment for these problems?
