Knee question

Hey everyone. I had this problem for almost 6 months and the last few days it has gotten worse. I had a heaven 200+ pound meatel object all on top of me. Went to the doctors and they said I had whiplash, some hip problem hockey players get in my hip, and a knee issue is was swollen. So everything got better and I returned back to my regular duties at work. Started trying to work out after 2 months off but my knee got swollen and sore. I rested it again for a few months. I got home from work, is was cold and my knee was sore and swollen. Hurt to walk and go down my stairs. My doctor put me back on mod duties. The last few days my whole leg tingles, right to my toes and my knee seems to be getting worse. It hurts after resting. The pain in my knee is mostly around my knee cap on the inside of my left knee and on the top and lower portion of my knee cap. Im 33 and had this issue for 6 months. Please help .
