L4 nerve root Schwannomma or Neurofibroma

I have been diagnosed with a L4 nerve root tumor - either a Schwannoma or a Neurofibroma, based on the MRI's and the Neuroradiologist's opinion.  My question is:
where are the best hospitals and neurosurgeons in the U.S. capable of handling this delicate operation?
I don't want to lose the use of my leg and want to get the best possible care.
I'm a 39 yo male.

Try Richard G. Fessler at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago. He removed an L5-S1 schwannoma and it was a great success. Little or no pain and extremely fast recovery. He is one of the best!
