Lamictal and (VUR)

hello  my name is Lorrie I'm 38 years old was on lamictal for about six months stopped it once for a week then they started me on it again. (light rash night sweats) 300mg

I have simple complex partial seizures also I have grade IV vur which I think maybe making it hard for me to take lamictal my nero put me back on lamictal three months ago ive been taking 200mg 100mg twice a day. I have brusing heavy bleeding im tired all the time and trouble going to the bathroom in the morning and my urin has turned a dark color muscles hurt all over cant even sleep because of muscle pain, SO I quit the lamictal went from 200mg to 100mg for a week and havent taken any for two days.  can lamictal hurt your kidneys and what could cause heavy bleeding and brusing?

I hope you are ok. I'm on Lamictal and it is very dangerous to get off of it and start back up again. A rash can actually turn deadly. It can cause skin necrosis and Stevens Johnsons Syndrome. If you get a rash stop the med right away and if its not better and gets worse in the next days then go to the hospital.

yes!! go to mayoclinic.com and read on all the possible side effects of lamictal. you could even print it off, take it to the dr. and show them which ones you are experiencing.
