Left side tingling, right side burning.

I am 23 years old and in fine health, as far as I know. For the past week or so I have been having SEVERELY painful spells. My left hip starts to tingle, pins and needles then begin from my foot, up my leg, to my hip, side, forearm and fingers. While this is happening my left hand becomes contorted and I am unable to control what is happening with it. I CAN still move my leg, but it is very painful. During my left side doing all this nonsense, my right side burns, as if someone is lighting me on fire from my right hip down to my toes. This lasts for roughly 2-3 minutes until the pins and needles are replaced with weakness. I have had an MRI with contrast and a CT scan. Doctors told me both were normal. These spells happen 3 to 4 times per day when I change position (sitting to standing, rolling over in bed etc.) and I am expected to wait one week to see a neurologist. I cannot keep doing this on a daily basis. Do you have any ideas on what this may be?
