Left vertrebral artery
I have recently been diagnosed with a 80% blockage of the left vertrebral artery..  I am a 71 year old female, with no other signs of blockage and in good health.   My doctors tell me there is nothing I can do except take my plavix, keep my blood pressure low.   My symptons were bruits for days and weeks at a time....they have subsided since taking plavix.   Is there any other treatment.

I also had an attack of trimingel neurology a year before this.   I was literally struck down with the attack.  I had never had any problems before this.   Are these connected.   The attack was on my right side of my face and head.
