Loss of ability to contract Bicep - all other arm and shoulder muscles are firing fine

Good morning,

Last Friday evening, I started loosing strength in my bicep.  As of Saturday morning, I had about (and still have) about 10% of the strength in my bicep.  Muscles in the forearm, tricep, and shoulder are firing off just fine.   I can do pushups, handstands, and isometric exercises to test the other muscle groups in the arm and shoulder.  Nothing hurts, but the bicep isn’t getting full signals to fire off.  I have a slight tingle in my forearm as of monday morning (today).

I saw my chiropractor this morning and he said it was not in his area of expertise, and to get a referral to a neurologist.  I am finding that difficult to get an appointment for the next couple of days, and wanted to post to this forum.  

I have not had any injuries, changes in workout habits, eat reasonably varied diet and take multivitamins.  Have not been exposed to any chemicals I am aware of.  

As it might be a day or so until I can see a neurologist and have them test my nerve connections, do you have any insights in the interim period?
