Low O2 Saturation Levels

I am A 79 year old, non-smoking male. 4 Weeks ago I suffered a stroke that affected my right side brain amy brain stem. At about the same time my O2 saturation levels dropped to the point where I need O2 around the clock. The DRs were not able to determine the cause of the stroka and so sent me for a TEE sono-gram. This test showed that I had FPO (A hole in the heart.  The Drs are advising me to have this hole closed because they think part of the low blood O2 satuation Level problrem is coing from this hole. The Closing of the hole is a relatively new procedure. Where can I get hard data on the outcomes of closing the PFO?Where are the centers of Expertise that I need to consult on this problem?
