Low protein diet as cause of leg, arm muscle pain?

by Jan922, Oct 17, 2009 10:59PM
My elderly father has pain in arms and legs.  I suspect low protein diet, low B12 as cause.  He is extremely active, works in a physical job every day. He is a practicing vegetarian, although sometimes (2-3 times per year) eats meat, mostly chicken.  Needs more protein and appropriate enzymes, I think.  Shall I suggest this to him?  Is it a valid theory?

This discussion is related to muscle pain and fatigue, legs and arms.
