Lump on head

I found a painful lump on my head over 3 wks. ago . It's gotten smaller & less painful, but definitely there in top of my scalp. Not any where I'd think was a lymph node. I now find one that feels close in proximety,not as painful. Been having numbness & tingling in neck & down both arms intermittently for mons. Not sure if related. Had 3 closed head injuries since 1999/ 1st one, hit dead on top of my head like a battering ram. 2nd in wreck slammed me around & whiplashed spine, 3rd same in another wreck. I am nurse , but I can't figure this one out, My pain doc , I see monthly told me to see a dermatologist??? I've had lots of pains that can't be dx. I have Fibromyalgia, so that complicates diagnosing all pain. This doesn't feel like a hot spot or painful bony prominence. All bony prominences are painful when touched, don't know it till press on. What could this be other than a sebacious cyst? which i do not think it is. I've assisted in removing LOTS of those.Just doesn't feel like that.
