M.E or M.S ?

Hi there,i am a 40yr old female. i have been ill for ten years, diagnosed with F.M.S & M.E five years ago.  I have tried several different medications but my health has worsened. In the last six months i have had new symptoms and my illness feels totally different. Before xmas i could pace myself, resting if i knew i had to do something later on in the week. I would be well for weeks at a time only suffereing mild pains aches and tiredness. Since xmas i havn't even been able to have one full day of feeling really well. My headaches are lasting for a week, i have experienced severe dizziness that didn't let up for ten days. I still get it now but its not constant. I have had blurriness and double vision. My short term memory is very bad i will stop mid sentance or forget totally what i was doing. Also i have started to notice a mild tremor when i am concentrating. I have been to see my gp and have been referred to a neurologist, this isn't for a month so thought i'd post on this forum to see if i can get any answers. I am totally confused as i know by my own body that the illness feels totally different now. Can anyone offer any advice? I have read alot about M.S and all but one symptom (numbness & tingling) fits my illness scarily to a t. I suffer a burning sensation on my arm and legs but not numbness. many thanks in advance to any replies.

Here's a very good article about M.E./Lyme in the UK:

Are you in U.K.?  Many people diagnosed with M.E. have later found out they had a tick borne infection.

There is a group in UK, called Lyme Disease Action.
