Thanks for using the forum. I am happy to address your questions, and my answer will be based on the information you provided here. Please make sure you recognize that this forum is for educational purposes only, and it does not substitute for a formal office visit with your doctor.

Without the ability to examine you and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of your symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

The cisterna magna is a spinal fluid space in the back of the brain, more specifically, it lies just posterior to the cerebellum. Mega cisterna magna means that this area is enlarged. The space may be enlarged for a few reasons, both normal and pathologic.  Often, it is an incidental finding, meaning of no clinical consequence. In some cases though it may reflect abnormal flow of spinal fluid for various reasons, or a problem with the cerebellum, the structure it lies close to. It is difficult to say without seeing the MRI and knowing what the symptoms and history are.

Continued follow-up with your neurologist is recommended.

Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions, I hope you find the information I have provided useful, good luck.
