MOM DESPERATELY SEEKING HELP FOR SON WITH FOOT DROP

My son was diagnosed with Foot Drop last year of 2006.  Since then they have done all kinds of testing including CMT, Vitamin Deficiency B, and a MRI of his back.  They all came back negitive.   Does anyone have any suggestions on testing that can be done? Also I have not found a brace that has worked for my son. They are either too restrictive or it doesn't help him enough.  Although a brace called the Easy Gait was just remcommended to me by the CMT association.  Is there any brace that anyone could recommend?  My son is very active in snowboarding and baseball. The Foot Drop has not slowed my son down in his active life.  I think that is why the doctors are so perplexed on what is causing his foot drop and why he has it. I hope someone reading this can help.
