MRI computer help

I have idiopathic cranial focal dystonia with meiges syndrome thrown in for good measure and now it appears i may have a very rare disorder, extrememly rare as i have been told that encompasses the disposition of iron in the cerebellum.  I was sent from a brilliant University Hospital ( i really loved them) but it was out of my ins. nework and they sent me to another univ. in my network who of course wants to take their own MRi and said they couldn't, or so they said wouldn't open the MRI because their computer wouldn't open  it in front of us so off we go to get another appointment for another tesla 3 MRI.  My question is, they are taking so long to make the appointment that my movement nuerologist here has made an appointment at an excellent MRI facility here with a tesla 3 MRI (i have to be sedated because of the jerking etc.) Now here comes the questions?  is there some special software I should make sure they use in presenting the DVD for this University so they can read it? or is it bunk?  the other University had no issues at all and when he thought he saw the iron in this rare area he sent it to another nuero radio guy and he opened it.  what can I do to help this other hospital not have any attitude about my not using their machine. I want to be cooperative but this is getting nuts and I am running out of money for insurance and travel expenses.  thank  you for any help.

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

There are at least three commonly used companies who make MRI’s. Each has benefits and their own features. For example, at our institution we use one MRI brand. When a patient presents from an outsides facility with an MRI of a different brand, it is difficult to open the imaging software, but not impossible. Typically, the CDs will have software to allow the images to be opened. When you request your images, you can ask to make sure the software is included. You can also contact your new radiology department asking them which brand is used if you get an MRI from another outside facility.
