MRI concern?

9333878?1374975447
I recently had an MRI done on the brain and am still waiting for the results. Is this something to be concerned about or is it ok?

Hi there!

Well, without knowing the relevant clinical details it would be difficult to comment specifically on the situation. If the MRI was ordered electively, it would normally take a few days for reporting. It is important to understand that the clinical evaluation does not depend on the MRI alone. The MRI is just a means of confirming a diagnosis and is ordered only after a detailed clinical evaluation by a doctor. Since this was not ordered as an emergency, there should not be a cause for worry.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
