MRI on veterbral and carodid artery

MRI on veterbral and carodid artery

I had an MRI done and it showed clogged arteries just below the shoulder at the veterbral and carodid artieries.  The radiologist said the clogged areas were artifacts from the neck fusion i had at c5/6.  Could he be wrong and if he is how do and who should I get to review these films?
At first the Neuro told me I had a TIA now he's saying he doesnt know whats wrong, but I shouldnt twist my neck too far as I could cut the circulation off to my brain.

Hi,

How are you?
Thromboembolism is one of the complications of cervical fusion surgery. The emboli can lodge in the arteries in the cervical region and cause partial or complete blockade.
This can result in stroke or TIA.
I would suggest you to seek a second opinion with a neurologist and carry all your reports with you.
Take care!

Thank you for the advice.  I do have an appointment with a different neurologist next month.  I am worried that I do indeed have blocked arteries.  I appreciate your input.  I will let you know what happens next.  That could explain why I fell down several times too.  take care.
