MRI results

I had an MRI of the cervical spine with and without contrast that showed multilevel disc desiccation and paracentral and uncovertebral spondylosis.  There is moderate left foraminal narrowing at C2-C3 and at C4-C5 there is a disc bulge with mild thecal sac effacement noted.  There is a small cystic structure in the right neural foramen at T2-T3 suggestive of a perineral cyst.  What does this mean in laymen's terms?  (B.S. in Nursing but this is way out of my league.)  I've been having muscle spasms and imbalance.  Could the above results be related to this in any manner?

There are many different terms used to describe spinal disc pathology and associated pain, such as “herniated disc”, “pinched nerve”, and “bulging disc”. A bulging disk is a condition related to the spine that occurs when a disk bulges through a crevice in the spine. Disks are the soft, gelatinous material that cushions the vertebrae of the spine. A bulging disk occurs when the disk shifts out of its normal radius.
Foraminal narrowing means that there is a decrease in the space between the vertebrae where the nerve roots leave the spine. These spaces are referred to as "foramina", which means "window". They have an oval shape formed by two opposing arches of bone located on the vertebrae above and below the root. The disc is also located between the vertebrae at the same level, with the disc margin virtually being a part of the foramen's inner wall. When there is disc bulging, there becomes less room in the foramen for the nerve root. Thecal sac effacement means there is contact between the thecal sac and another mass, in this case a cyst.
