My MRI is showing lesions on the left side my brain and suggest demyelinating disease. A NeuroOphthalmologist I was referred to ordered the MRI not my PCP.
No one has identified what type of demyelinating disease it could be. I had an MRI done on 0722/2008 ordered by the NeuroOpthalmologist because of my failing a visualVisual acuity test field test. The MRI results showed lesions and the impression was: due to the lesions demyelinating disease should be considered. When of my friends who is an Internal Medicine doctor looked at my MRI, he told me it looks like MS to him but my PCP and the NeuroOpthalmologist should and would confirm the official diagnosis.
Do you know any treatment options?
I hope you get a optimistic prognosis. Best wishes!
