MS & plantar fasciitis

MS & plantar fasciitis

I have been suffering since May 2011 with plantar fasciitis in my left foot.  Now, three months later, although I am receiving physical therapy thrice weekly (ultrasound, some sort of electro patch), that feels good but has not yielded any improvement.  I was diagnosed with MS back in 1985.  My MS is, thankfully, pretty stable, for the present.  This new issue of pain while walking is, however, rather discouraging.  It was suggested to me this morning after physical therapy, that my MS could be delaying the healing of the plantar fasciitis.  I see the orthopedic doctor tomorrow and am hopeful he might also be able to answer that question, if MS could be delaying any improvement.  Does that make sense to anyone, that MS could delay the body's recovery from plantar fasciitis?
