MS Help

I have MS and having been dealing with an attack for 2 weeks.  I have been on prednisone for the 2 weeks.  I am not getting any better I am still numb from head to toe.  My eyes are bothering me some now too.  The steroids are making my blood sugars go really high.  They are running 275+ last night they were 390. They normally are not elevated at all. My doctor is out today and I still have not heard from the doctor oncall.  I am scared and not sure what I should do. I am 31 year old female.

Thanks, for the response.  Still trying to struggle through it all.  I am now on a diabetic med for 3 weeks while I take the steroid.  Hopefully I will find out something else soo.

Hi.

If your doctors are not available, and your symptoms and blood sugar levels are getting worse, you could opt to go to the emergency department to, at least, manage your elevated blood sugar levels.

Good luck.
