M.S. and Diamox treatment.

My husband has M.S.   How could Diamox be helpful in this treatment and/or what symptoms would he be displaying in order to consider Diamox as a part of his treatment plan ?

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

Diamox has been studied in trials to treat painful tonic spasms associated with multiple sclerosis. I have not actually used it in my practice and cannot comment on its efficacy.
