MS and fertility drugs

by jenb213, Mar 03, 2008 04:19PM
I  a 36 yr. old MWF dx w/ MS last week. We were told by 3 MS specialist that I should get on aggressive treatment for the MS w/in the next 2-4 weeks. I understand that one can be pregnant and have MS. The problem is that one can not be on an MS drug while trying to get pregnant or pregnant. My husband and I desperately want children so we find ourselves in a bind. It take most couples our age over 1 year to get pregnant the "old fashtioned" way and we do not have 1 year to try and not be on medicine treating my MS. Is it safe to do IVF or other methods which increase our chances of getting pregnant faster?
Thanks in advance-
