MS vs Fibro?

MS vs Fibro?

I was diagnosed with MS in 2006.  I had a 4 month old baby and was 33 yrs old.  I had a dysethesia and my dr sent me for an MRI.  I had 4 spinal lesions.  None in my brain.  I have had an occurrence of Optic Neuritis with double vision for about a week.  And I've had smaller ones here and there with blurred vision in one eye - but those usually last 24 hours or less.  Test for NMO is negative.  I refused the spinal tap because the results aren't conclusive and needles in the back really hurt me for months (I've had 3 epidurals and went natural with my last birth because of how painful the epis are for me).

I experience dysethesias often.  I had a bad case of the MS 'hug' last fall that landed me on my couch for 6 weeks.  I did IVSM (my first time) but was still on the couch for 5 weeks more.  My hug has never gone totally away.  It is there daily and is really wearing on me.  Neurontin does nothing, ibuprofen does nothing, baclofen does nothing.  Still debating if Aleve actually helps or not...maybe.  I'm frankly scared to do much exercising because even mild stretching can hurt me for days.  I started Rebif in 2008 (after my final pregnancy) and then switched to Beta last summer due to painful injections.

I also have been diagnosed with hypothyroid (which is carefully monitored every 3 months, I'm on 125mcg currently), PCOS, IBS (which is well controlled by diet and not an active issue) and oral allergy syndrome.  I have had pneumonia once and walking pneumonia twice in my life.   Lots of sinus & respiratory infections.  But that's about it.

At my last MRI, the radiologist said I only had one lesions. My neuro had to call him and point out the other three.  Apparently the other three are *very* small.  So my neuro says that my degree of MS is "very very mild" and that while it's not unheard of, it's typical that someone this "mild" would get on shots and do very well.  She's surprised that I have the issues I do.  She just sent blood off to see if I'm making antibodies to interferon.

So that has you up to speed mostly. Here's my question...might I have fibromyalgia?
On top of all of that history, I have daily all-over body pain.  I wake up hurting.  I asked my husband for a mattress cover for our anniversary (and our mattress isn't old!).  It may have helped a bit but I'm still hurting.  My hips, shoulders, neck, and back frequently hurt.  If a friend jabs me jokingly in the ribs, I hurt for days.  If my kids squeeze me too hard when hugging (and they're all under 10, so it's not that they're big!), I hurt for days and days.  I really tried to pinpoint today when all that started and I can't.  It's always been something I just attributed to MS or my shot after-effects or something.  But I'd say at *least* two years now.  It's just at the point where I can't just ignore it anymore.  I'm just tired of hurting.  After googling a bit, fibro sounds like what I have...and I know many times people are diagnosed with one and then switched to another later.
When I talked to my neuro about the pain, she said it didn't sound like an MS symptom to her.  She poked around on me a bit and said it 'almost seemed like a bone issue' to her...but we were interrupted and didn't get to finish talking.

And, are spinal lesions possible with fibro?  Or is it more likely that I possibly have MS and fibro?
