Memory loss, headaches, and loss of sense of smell

by lorilwayne, Nov 29, 2006 12:00AM
My daughter had meningoencephalitis about 6 weeks ago.  She continues to have problems with short term memory loss and loss of sense of smell.  She also continues to have headaches.  Any ideas with how long this will linger?  How long until I should get more concerned?  How long before we consider this a long term problem vs. a short term situation.  Any suggestions for treatment would be appreciated.
