Menopause or brain dysfunction??

I'm a 50 yr old female. I've noticed the past year trouble finding the right word on occasion. I'd say it happens a couple times a day. I am also more forgetful or I have to stop and think very hard and the memory will come back but it feels like it happened years ago. The other day I was reading a number aloud and kept saying 2 instead of 9. My ability to write has not been affected. I have no trouble with grammar. I also have trouble remembering dates when something happened past a week or so. I had a ministroke 12 yrs ago due to taking progesterone. I suffered some seizures afterwards that eventually stopped.
