I have many of these symptoms too: exercise intolerance where walking into town and back makes me ache for hours afterwards and I get very drowsy.and my eyes go dry and need rubbing
My tongue is dry, and slightly hairy. been told that I have very mild gingivitus
Can't concentrate/think properly much of the time
alcohol intolerance: after drinking a little I get a flushed face and feel really drowsy. sometimes this flushed look spreads to my chest and shoulders, and my hands too. sometimes it makes my heart beat hard and fast (and no i dont have red bull)
I have hypothyroidism but have been told by an endocrinologist that these symptoms dont seem hormonal.
I dont know what it could be
hi,your symptoms most probably could be due to either endocrinal disorder(hypothyroidism, adrenal insuffciency, hypoparathyroidism etc) or merely psycological(depression).
Please consult Endocrinologist or get yourself evaluated for hormonal levels.
Have you got tested for serum calcium and CD 4 counts?
Your symptoms are pointing into a lot of directions. A good test that will screen for antibodies (esp. rheumatological ones) is an ANA. If the results come back with a high titer, they can run more specific tests to narrow down what the dx may be.
Also, an undiagnosed sleep disorder as mentioned above can be a lot more responsible for things than one might think. Requesting a sleep study is a good idea too.
Good luck with that. I know those symptoms can be miserable.
I know this is an old post, but did you ever get a diagnosis? I have very similar symptoms and so far no doctor has helped. I have found that a lot of my symptoms point to either a pituitary tumor or to POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). My insurance has denied me for an MRI because a CT Scan was normal. I'm sooooo frustrated. I've been dealing with this for two years now and the symptoms seem to be getting worse. My biggest frustration is the exercise intolerance because I'm a runner who can barely run now because of how I feel after a run.
