Microdisckectomy/Adcon-L

I am seriously considering a microdiskectomy for two bulging disks at L4/L5 and L5/S1 that have kept me in pain for 15 months or so.  My questions are these:  The new treatment Adcon L for lumbar surgeries (laminectomy, diskectomy), would it be of any benefit in a microdiskectomy since they don't actually open your back up much.  I am a keloid former and want to avoid problems with scar tissue.
Also, is microdiskectomy a difficult operation, are most neurosurgeons able to perform it well, or should I look for someone who specializes in microdiskectomy.  If I should find someone who specializes, how do I go about that?  Would calling the various hospitals be of any benefit?
