Migraine heaches

I suffered from migraine headaches from my early twenties until I was 48 and became being treated for high blood pressure. The headaches have gone away and I haven't had a migraine for twenty years. I wonder occasionally if they may ever return?

Hi there. It’s good to know that your migraines have subsided and you have been symptom free for 20 years. This could return but you need not worry about it in anticipation. Since you are also a hypertensive, you need to keep a regular control of this with medications, reduced salt intake and cholesterol intake, regular exercise. Uncontrolled hypertension could again present with headaches. Migraines if they return can be controlled with more evolved medications available to both prevent an attack and abort it if already having one. Hope this helps and allays your anxiety. Take care.
